Vaporizer Effectiveness Increases with the Time
Many tests have been conducted to determine the efficiency of extraction and delivery. The choice of the vaporizers used has proven to be the major affecting factor all of these tests. The amount of hazardous byproducts, if at all produced is also one of the subjects for such tests. Let us consider some scientific facts first:
1. In most of the medical plants, including cannabis, the atomic compound which is responsible for giving the aroma often gets vaporized at lower temperatures while cannabinoids of relatively higher bio-activity goes through vaporization at higher temperatures. Thus, the temperature range varies greatly, 56 degrees Celsius to be precise. The vaporization of aromatic compounds start at around 129 degrees Celsius and that of bio-active compounds start at approximately 200 degrees Celsius.
2. It has been observed that the amount of actives delivered as well as total spread of actives per inhalation are the most critical factors in determining the value of the delivered dosage.
3. Systems which are capable of delivering the highest number of actives with the broadest range of actives per inhalation are considered to be the most effective ones for medicinal applications.
4. Venture enhanced extraction and convection based systems presently deliver on these fronts.
Following factors affect the output:-
1. Specimen density
2. Temperature
3. Consistency of material placed in the filling chamber
4. Weight and content of water as well as that of essential oils
5. Proportion of the THC exhaled
6. Type of the preparation
7. Potency and variety of cannabis
8. Storage time for the vapor
